Opensuse 42.3 black screen

Today I upgraded my Opensuse 42.3. I do not know if I already was on 42.3 or this update took me there. Anyway when I started my VNC connection all I got was a black screen and a cursor. The same freeking VNC woe again. Every time you upgrade Linux there is a chance vnc breaks. Then you have to trial and error a lot until you all of a sudden make it work again. I remember the old mandrake every second release vnc was broken. Today I had to remove the line:

exec /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc

Then I got a nice GUI screen again. I have absolutely no idea why this works or why vnc chrashes with the line. Here is the fixed script:
